Refueling
The Latham Open is a two day competition.
Most likely you will need to refuel your boat after the first day of fishing, on your return to Sinda Island.
Since there are no refueling facilities at Sinda Island, the DYC will be able to assist you transport your fuel to Sinda with a landing craft.
Please ensure that you consign your fuel to the DYC pump area not later than Monday 26th September 17h00.
The fuel should be stored in 60 liter drums and each drum should be labeled with your boat name, type of fuel and amount in liters.

Every Club Member should provide his own 60 litre drum.
There will be no refueling taking place on/from the landing craft.
It will be the skipper’s responsibility to transport his fuel from landing craft to his boat. There will be a dinghy allocated for this purpose.

DYC will not supply any pumps, fuel transfer hoses etc. If needed you should provide your own.

Please note: this is a free service offered by DYC to all competitors. Although all efforts to take care of your fuel will be made, DYC will not accept liability if any fuel, drums, etc.. will be missing or damaged.
If you wish you can provide a guard at your expenses and responsabilities to supervise and accompany your fuel.

Sinda Island is a protected marine park; Skippers should ensure that there is no spillage of fuel.

Visiting Boats
DYC will provide 60 liter drums only to visiting boats taking part in the Competition and only if they have paid a deposit per each drum requested.
This deposit will be reinbursed once the drums will be returned to DYC in good conditions.
All visiting boat's skippers should present DYC with their fuel requirement not later than Monday 19th September 2011.
